The American Lutheran Church Board of American Missions bought five acres on Holly Drive in 1962, just behind what was also known as Plant Drive Park. Construction began on the new Nativity Lutheran Church by June of that year, with the founding pastor, Reverend Dr. David A. Wolber, conducting the first formal worship service just prior to Christmas on December 23. After Nativity’s first worship service was held on December 23, 1962 (hence the name Nativity) the Nativity Lutheran School opened in August of 1965. Together we have grown in faith to serve the community through the worship, education and fellowship.

Nativity Lutheran Church & School is a vibrant and growing community of brothers and sisters in Christ, located in the heart of Palm Beach Gardens. We believe that worship is at the heart of our Christian life. It is the wellspring of our journey of faith. It is where we experience and receive God’s love in Word and Sacrament, and are transformed by this encounter. Our worship is a spirited-liturgical experience, rooted in tradition yet alive with the spirit. We celebrate our Lutheran liturgical heritage, while giving voice to the contemporary context of today. We have a vision for Inspired Worship!
